With the holiday season almost behind us, it’s nearing time for our Awards Banquet. In this newsletter you will find the reservation form to be filled out and sent back with your RSVP. If you haven’t already, be thinking about an item to donate to the live auction that we will be holding at the banquet. All proceeds go to KBHA! We will have again this year a prize that will go to the highest bidder and one for the highest seller! Be sure to make time for the banquet whether you are getting an award or not. We have a great time and everyone is welcome to attend!!
In the last several newsletters I have mentioned the Country Care program that KBHA was enrolled in, where a portion of your purchases from horse.com went to the club. Unfortunately they have discontinued this program. I want to thank everyone who purchased from them to help out the club. It was appreciated!
Election results! Larry Montgomery and Debi Stewart have been voted in as new board members for 2010.
If anyone has any items to donate to our Prize Box you may bring them to the banquet and give them to Darrin or Tracy and we’ll make sure they get to the box. For those of you not familiar with this, at our shows we announce a random placing in several classes through out the day and that person gets to come pick something out of the Prize Box. We like to try to keep the box full! Any new horse related items are welcome. Brushes, hoof picks, tail bags, stickers – anything suitable for a youth or adult. Thanks in advance for your help!
