MEMBERS’ NEWS SECTION

We would like to hear about member’s accomplishments, news, etc. to put in this section for upcoming newsletters. Please send emails to me at fultzallstar@yahoo.com and write KBHA MEMBERS’ NEWS in subject line.

PRIZE BOX

We are greatly in need of donated items for our Prize Box. Last year was our 1st year to try this and it seemed to go over quite well. For anyone not familiar with this- random classes are picked each show day and random placings (excluding 1st place) are announced and can pick an item from the prize box! Donated items should be unused horse related items (brushes, spray bottles, tack hooks, t-shirts, hoof picks, mane bands, tail bags) and need not be expensive! Get creative! Maybe you have something to donate that you never used yourself or next time you place an order somewhere add a few inexpensive items you could donate. ANY HELP WITH THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!! If you have items to donate please contact Donna Martel or Tracy Hockett and bring your items to the next show. Your name will be announced at the show for your donation!

SPONSORS

This year we need to get sponsors for all of our classes on the show bill. The money from the sponsors helps support our club! If every member could get just one sponsor ($20/ class) we could reach our goal. If you can get more than one- so much the better! If you can’t find someone to sponsor- you can sponsor a class yourself. All sponsors will be recognized! Forms can be obtained from our website.

WEBSITE- www.ksbuckskin.com

Cherie Reinheimer has agreed to continue to do our club’s website for us. She has updated the site recently and you can find the show bill or any forms you might need there.

A good rider can hear his horse speak to him, a great rider can hear his horse whisper, but a bad rider won’t hear his horse even if it screams at him. -unknown
