****2008 KBHA YEARLING CHALLENGE****
This Challenge is open to both ABRA registered yearlings and All Breed yearlings and will be held during the Kansas Buckskin Horse Association shows. The shows are held indoors at the Douglas Co. Fair Grounds in Lawrence, KS.
YEAR-END AWARD PAYBACK WILL BE AS FOLLOWS FOR BOTH THE ABRA AND THE ALL BREED DIVISIONS:
1st PLACE- $100.00
2nd PLACE- $75.00
3rd PLACE- $50.00
2008 SHOW DATES ARE: May 17/18, June 14/15, July 12/13, Sept. 6/7
ABRA Yearling points from the following classes to count towards the award are: ABRA Yearling Halter (stallion, mare or gelding), ABRA Yearling Longe Line, and ABRA Yearling Trail in Hand.
All Breed Yearling points from the following classes to count towards the award are: All Breed Yearling Halter, All Breed Yearling Longe Line, and All Breed Yearling Trail in Hand.
* Horses must be nominated, paying the $15.00 fee to KBHA
* Owner & Exhibitor must be KBHA members. For ABRA horses both Owner & Exhibitor must be ABRA members & horse must be ABRA registered.
* Points to be calculated as follows: First place will recieve 6 points, second place 5 pts and so on unless there are less than 6 horses in the class, and then first place will recieve the number of horses in the class. (example: 4 horses in the class first place gets 4pts, second place gets 3pts, and so on)
